The vanilla installation  with ''make install''  should use a file layout
as suggested in the [[wp>Filesystem_Hierarchy_Standard|Filesystem Hierarchy Standard]] (FHS).

Directory Layout:
  * ''/etc/wolfpack.xml'' - Main configuration file
  * ''/etc/init.d/wolfpack'' - SysV Init-Script
  * ''/usr/games/wolfpack'' - Main executable file
  * ''/usr/share/wolfpack'' - Static files
    * Scripts, Definitions, Web
  * ''/usr/share/games/wolfpack'' - MUL-Files
    * This location ist populated with some client files. There will be a script to automatically create the contents out of an original client installation package.  (Work to be done).
  * ''/usr/share/doc/wolfpack'' - Documentation files
    * README, LICENSE, etc.
  * ''/usr/share/man/wolfpack.6'' - Manual Page
  * ''/var/games/wolfpack'' - Dynamic files
    * SQLite Accounts Database
    * World save files
  * ''/var/log/wolfpack'' - Logfiles
